Technoplane is an innovative aerospace company headquartered in Moulins, in the Allier department (FR-03) of central France. This site serves as the company’s main coordination center for collaborative research and development projects, particularly in sustainable aviation and advanced air mobility.

The Moulins headquarters hosts the core engineering team, administrative offices, and collaborative design spaces. It is where most strategic planning, project supervision, and cross-partner communication take place.

Project and Partner Locations

In addition to the main site, Technoplane operates through a network of academic and industrial partners across France. These include:

  • Estaca (Saint-Quentin, Laval, Bordeaux): Specialized in hybrid propulsion systems and flight system engineering.
  • ENSTA Paris: Focused on AI-driven simulation tools and performance optimization for aviation systems.
  • École Centrale de Lille: Contributes to big data analysis, collaborative innovation processes, and support for advanced engineering tools used in BeePlane and Mini-Bee projects.

Test and Demonstration Areas

Technoplane uses dedicated airfields and secure testing zones in central and western France to validate flight technologies. These areas allow the company to conduct real-world trials of VTOL aircraft, detachable fuselage systems, and hybrid propulsion prototypes, all in compliance with French aviation authorities.

Digital Infrastructure

All project sites and collaborators are connected via a secure digital backbone managed through Synology servers. This infrastructure ensures real-time data sharing, project synchronization, video conferencing, remote engineering reviews, and traceability of BeeCoin transactions via private blockchain systems.
