Technoplane was founded in 2013 with a simple yet ambitious idea: to bring together engineers, researchers, and enthusiasts to imagine the aviation and industry of tomorrow. From the very beginning, the company chose to operate differently, opening its projects to collaboration and placing the sharing of ideas at the core of its work.

Technoplane’s Beginnings: Data and Industrial Performance

At the start, Technoplane’s activity focused on a specific topic: the use of data to improve industrial performance. How can a supply chain be better organized? How can costs be reduced while maintaining reliability? These early studies laid the foundations of a method: combining technical innovation with a collaborative approach.

2017 – Launch of the BeePlane Project: Detachable Cabin and Efficiency

In 2017, Technoplane took a major step forward with the BeePlane project. The idea? To design a medium-haul aircraft capable of saving time on the ground thanks to a detachable cabin. Passengers or cargo are prepared inside the cabin, it is connected to the aircraft, and departure happens immediately. This concept, developed with students and industrial partners, opens new perspectives for rethinking the efficiency of air transport.

2020 – Mini-Bee: Hybrid VTOL for Urban Mobility

A few years later, a new project emerged: the Mini-Bee. This hybrid vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft is designed for fast and useful missions, such as medical transport or urban mobility. Smaller and more flexible, it illustrates Technoplane’s commitment to providing practical solutions to the mobility challenges of tomorrow.

2021 – BeeCoin: Transparent Collaborative Funding

At the same time, Technoplane explored new ways to finance and structure its collaborative projects. This led to the creation of the BeeCoin ecosystem in 2021. These digital “tokens” are used to support projects, value contributions, and ensure full transparency. Unlike traditional cryptocurrencies, BeeCoin operates within a clear framework, governed by an open license, so that everyone can participate with confidence.

2023 – BeeTheory: Toward a New Vision of Gravity

Technoplane does not stop at engineering. In 2023, the company introduced an original approach in theoretical physics: BeeTheory. This approach seeks to explain gravity in a new way, using waves rather than particles. It is a way to explore fundamental questions while staying true to the company’s spirit: opening new paths and sharing knowledge.
