Bee Plane
Bee-Plane is a detachable-fuselage medium-haul aircraft. It is an ambitious R&D project, currently at the beginning of TRL3.
Since TRL1, many academic stakeholders have contributed to its development. TRL2 was completed in 2021/2022, notably thanks to projects with the French engineering school ESTACA.
During the early phases, several engineering schools collaborated and shared their work. With the support of ESTACA, SUPMECA, and Centrale Supélec, significant architectural progress was achieved.
Redefining aviation with the detachable fuselage
BeePlane, developed by Technoplane, is an innovative project aimed at transforming air mobility through a detachable fuselage. This technology opens new perspectives for aircraft design, maintenance, and efficiency.
Collaborative innovation at TRL3
TRL3 began in 2021 and is scheduled to conclude in June 2024. This achievement is built on a collaborative dynamic with our partners:
- ESTACA (Saint-Quentin, Laval, Bordeaux)
- École Centrale Lille
- ENSTA Paris
